We strongly advise that you opt for a pet-specific carrier like the Basil Buddy. If that’s not an option, then your first priority is to make sure the dog feels comfortable in the basket and is unlikely to jump out. You can attach their collar to the basket to keep them nice a snug. Perhaps even attach it from either side so your pet cannot jump out at any point.
